| You don't need an identical drive. The BIOS will determine how much the machine sees. Make sure the BIOS has not been lost before you do anything else. For that age of machine (V1 software), I'd think the settings would be: 1024 cylinders 16 heads 65535 wpcom 0 lzone 50 sectors If V2 software: 3303 cylinders 16 heads 65535 wpcom 0 lzone 63 sectors (possibly set to LBA rather than Normal CHS) Check the Hard drive isn't on some default drive type with unusual parameters. |

| hi again, the problems which i have pointed above, i solved them all.. if you ask how i solved : i set harddisk with fdisk. then i formatted and installed necessary programs... the problem i have now is : after the machine power is on and master program is running, it says : "ATC NOT IN HOME POSITION; SELECT MACHINE DIAGNOSTICS. how can i fix this ? altough my machine is hurco bmc30, it appears bmc20 in master program. config version is v1.22. |
