    Are these the same?

I have a question that hopefully someone can answer. Is the Hurco BMC 30 the same as the MHP30? the two machines look identical with the exeption of maeby the controller. I have a MHP30 and all of the manuals refer tech support back to hurco. My machine has the dynapath 30 control with conversational but unfortnately this forum doen not have a topic for the MHP30. Just wondering if maeby question For the MHP are related to the BMC30

It would be nice to be able to have a member help with some of the questions that may arise every now and than. I am new at this machine (MHP30) so I sure could use some help. Thanks for reading my post.

I suspect the machines do indeed use the same base.

MHP is a name Hurco had a license to use for a few years. Most MHP- branded machines were fitted with DynaPath controls, since Hurco owned the division (then called Autocon Technologies) that built the DynaPath controls at that time.

Autocon Technologies, Inc. became DynaPath USA, which became DynaPath Systems, Inc. Although Hurco no longer owns this division, the hardware used in both companies' controls comes out of the same factory.

Delta 30 controls are still supported by DynaPath.

These machine bases have caused a lot of confusion. Some of the bases were used to make BMC30s with Hurco controls, some bases had DynaPath controls put on by Hurco personnel, and some bases were later sold to a third party retrofitter who also put DynaPath controls on them. DynaPath can certainly help with control parts, but can't always help with the parts associated with the machine itself.
