I have a '89 BMC20 with 7.24 v1 software and want to upgrade it to 8.6. The 8.6 is version2 and I want to know the difference between 8.6v1 and 8.6v2. I have Fanuc drives in my Hurco and is v2 for machines with Yaskawa drives? |

| 7.24 is a lot earlier than 8.61 . you'll need to change the axis and spindle EPROMs as well. Make sure the executive EPROM set has the right software options installed in U75 and U76 and don't forget to back up all your programs and toolchanger height. The leadscrew map will be read from the dual axis switches on a machine of that age. |
