    VM2 A.T.C. Error

Just wondered if anyone may notice these symptoms.

At tool change, ATC error shows on screen, usually with Tool pocket down. I go into diagnostics and put Tool pocket up, and then calibrate Tool carousel. But then when I try to change tools, you can hear the carousel moving around, but then nothing.

However, if I power down, and calbrate machine as normal, everything works again.

Obviously this fault is intermittent, and probably only occurs 4 to 5 times in an 8 hour shift.

What toolchanger error does it post? Where in the change does it stop? What's highlighted in the toolchanger diagnostic page?

    Thanks for the reply......

Wouldn't you just know it! Didn't happen once today.

I will post the answers to your questions asap. Although I can answer one question. It stops after the tool pocket comes down with the next tool in it.
