Check out gSimple. Its a free cam package. Looks fairly intuitive. Read the manual and see if it post to Hurco.

I just got a KM3P and am looking at software solutions. I got an older dos PC with it that will drip feed the mill. The guy I bought it from was using Surfcam and has a post for that, I am just looking to see if there is a more cost effective solution out there since this is sort of a hobby/toy thing.
Thanks
Mike

I like VisualMill it cost effective and easy to use.
Works well with the Hurco.
All comments made are my opinion!
Just about all cam software will post to hurco. If it outputs basic nc them the hurco can read it. The file mask needs to be changed to .hnc. I know bobcad, mastercam, alphacam, even programs like stl.works can post to the hurco.
thanks guys I will give those a try, I just got the machines set up and running want to make some chips now
