All but the spindle motor can be powered up with 220 volt single phase. My question is, can I check out the x,y,z axes with out 3 phase on the spindle? What about air pressure. Is there an air pressure solenoid that will keep it from running. Would like to check it out a little before I buy. Thanks Dave

Well to answer my own question, I need air, or it won't power up. I went and bought it. The CPU has an external battery. It has the max 32 upgrade. Comes with manuals. The graphics monitor is not working. ? Need to get it home first, and then check it out. most likely need help. Want to check out the controls with out 3 phase hooked up. (220 signal phase) Any help will be welcome. Thanks Dave

Dave Follow the wires to see which side of the three infeed wires for power, go to the transformers This is the single phase side for wiring your mill. drop the power wires to the input of the spindle motor relays, (taped off!) and you should be able to run it fine on 220 single phase, You will hear thw relays kick in, but no rotation. I wired my KMB3 to run on single phase, and added a 5 HP VFD for the 3 HP spindle motor I'll send you my modification if you want (drawing) I added a Auto-off-Manual On switch, which makes the mill into a MDI of sorts Rich
