I have a chance to buy a KM3. To put it where I want it I need to take the spindle drive motor on top off, move it in place, then put it back. Has anybody done this? The graphics display doesn't work ether. Any hints! I ran a Hurco before I retired. I didn't do the repair on them. Thanks for any help. Dave |

| Wind the spindle up to top speed, take off the little cover under the rear pulley (three M5 screws). Undo the M10 hex head holding the spring up (don't worry, the load will all be gone by the time she drops). Undo the two M10 caps holding the motor down, lift the motor out. 5 mins max. Reverse to refit. |

| It is not able to be powered up right now. Chances it is at a lower speed. What if block the speed cone and replace the 10 mm bolt with a 10 mm threaded rod and nut to let the spring pressure off slowly. Thanks for the reply. Dave |
