I am cutting straight slots in round stock with a ball mill. I would like to arc in , cut the slot and arc out the material in Z with a radius to get a better apperance. I calculated .005 increments and am able to get a decent apperance. Using milling lines and arcs I end up with 50+ sub-blocks. Is there an easier way? I am using a VM2 with winmax controls. |
