Question marker pluse problem

hi, all
i have km3 hurco mill my machine is not picking up marker pluse at X slide.I have swaped moters, servo amp.and cabel but problem is same axis.I have checked wiring so i think that is the problem of dual axis board X,Y
I want to ask that can we swap the dual axis board or can we swap the conector of X,y dual axis board (AC2 P1) to (AC2 P2) is it possibel?
if any one know about it please inform me i will be very thankful to you

Hi.
Please check limit switch. Maybe it is dirty and too close to marker position.

You can exchange X AC2/J1 & Y AC2/J2 cables and see that Y will calibrate or not.
If X will calibrate and Y not - problem have to be on LS or encoder.
Then You can exchange encoders for test (if there are assembled separately - not on motor).

Does Y calibrate now? I do not remember that X has to be calibrated before Y will start on these old machines.
If not I think that is possible to calibrate only Y axis by switching OFF X axis on DA board.

Something has to wrong with DA board.

Make one more test:
On DA board you can switch off one of axis.
Please switch off this channel for X which makes problem.
Then Y should calibrate I think.
After it please exchange cables one more time and see what will happend.

Probably DA makes problem. You have find someone who can repair it or try buy working one.

To be sure You can try to exchange DA boards (if are the same). - I am not sure - I made repair of machines with DA maybe 3 times only.

If the X axis makes the limit switch it will reverse direction and slowly creep out until it comes off the limit switch. Once it is off the limit switch it will continue until it sees the first instance of the marker pulse and zeros out and stops.

Does your machine continue to creep away from the limit switch until it errors?

If yes then the Dual Axis brd should be checked or repaired,

Sorry - my mistake. You can switch of axis on CRP2 board. But I am not sure that this test will work. Otherwise DA board makes problem probably.
