I've always programmed using the Hurco's conversational controls, but my company is starting to use Mastercam. My question is can I use a program written on the hurco as a sub or main program with my other program. I know with Mazak I can write a program in mazatrol and use it as a sub program in my mastercam program. Thanks |

| If you have a Hurco with the Winmax control this can be done very easily. It would be done with an NC Merge data block inside of your conversational part program. You would simply "call" the NC program with the NC Merge Block in the program. The machine would then execute the g-code, and then go back to the conversational program if you had more comversational work to do. If you have anymore questions I would call Hurco Applications at 317-293-5309. |
