Need Help!- 2001 ultimax ssm program questions

I just started helping a shop with a Hurco mill that has a 2001 ultimax ssm control.
I tried to program in .hnc with fanuc style programing and it will not read the arcs correctly. Also the control seems to lockup sometimes and the last few cycles I ran it would not go to the run screens I first used that had the rapid override button etc. The only way I could remedy this is to turn off the machine and bring it back up.
Any help would be appreciated I would like to know how to change the .hnc arc code to work. I have attached a program that was left in the machine from the last owner, I think he was drip feeding this.

Is there anyone who at least knows how this machine is reading arcs(g2 g3)?
It looks greek to me.
Any help would be appreciated.

Mike is this the first time you have tried G-Coding this Hurco? It has been a while since we had an old one. Using VM-1 machines now. I am kind of fuzzy on what we did. I want to say that we changed the code to read G01, G03, etc and tweaked the I and J and the R values by a couple tenths. The way the old controls convert this is funky and they can be a bit fussy. Sometimes you have to lie to the machine to get things to come out tangent,or the machine thinks it has a CC error and will not play. Tis work with one of ours but not on the KM3P.

This machine is a 2001 and was running g-code before the current shop bought it.
