Hurco ATC parts

Hi, I have a BMC25 and the ATC has a mixture of tool holding collars some BT40 some Cat40. I am looking to standardise them all to BT40. Can anyone suggest where would be best to obtain the collars that attach to the ATC to set the tool holder height. Alternatively if someone wants a load of Cat40 collars and has BT40 collars to swap out, that would work also. I'm in the UK, but travel to the US regularly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Nigel

we needed more of the spring clamps for our tool holder on our BMC-20 and i think we ended up just buying them from Hurco. you're best bet might be to call them and see what they have to say. most peoples machines are going to have all CAT or all BT. it's also going to be unlikely to find anyone parting out a machine. you could check with this company http://www.cmcsystems.com/

We regularly scrap machines. If there is one coming up for scrappin' soon, I'll jam a post on here. Have you looked into the possibility of making a fixture for a lathe and converting the BT holders? (more meat on them to turn off).

Thanks for your help guys, Bloke, if you scrap machines regularly, and come across them it would be most welcome, unfortunately because I want BT holders I can't re machine the cat 40 holders to suit, would be adding material not taking away, if I were going the other way, it would be fine. I'll contact hurco to find the price and availablity of them, you never know. otherwise thought about making them, which if there is no other option is always a possibilty. Like anything it's weighing up cost vs time. Thanks again
Nigel

We didn't sell too many machines with BT tooling. You would probably be best off ringing spares for a price. I'd find out for ya but i'm not in the office until monday.
