this could be caused by a bad floppy, bad hd, or drive controller on the cpu. try a new floppy first. standard 1.44 floppy. make sure no one has had their hands in the console or card rack moving cables. if your machine has the original executive disks in the back cabinet, you can boot the machine off of those disks. the machine will not run at that point, but you can then go to auxillary and select the upgrade master. the disks can then be loaded as an upgrade. if the machine will not boot off of the executive disks, then one of the above is bad. ron meyer |
