| Hurco MD1 spindle orient I have a Hurco Md1 and the spindle won't orient at a tool change or manually. I have had the dual axis and personallity boards checked out. when I press the spindle orient button it doesn't do anything but says it is oriented. |

| Hi, It sounds as though the spindle sensor which operates the shot bolt for orientation wants adjusting or replacing. Take the front head cover off and you will see the unit fitted. three wires centre one common check with avo on ohms one pair open one pair closed. this is a magnetic switch so activate it with a piece of metal whilst connecting it to the avo. this want a clearance of about .020" good luck. louis |
