| BMC20-Ultimax3 Hi Guys, I have an old BMC20 with an Ultimax3 control on it. When I switch the machine on it takes a long time for the screens to settle down (approx 45 mins). The machine runs perfectly ok apart from this. I don't want to leave it switched on as I don't use it that often and it's a pain when I do use it as I have to wait for it to sort itself out. Both screens are a bit like a TV that's tuned off station, then after a while the image clears but it's all over to the left and the bit that's missing is on the right. Any ideas, eventually it comes good but just takes a long time. I have some photos that I could put on here if I knew how to. |

| Check out the DC supply on this machine. If both CRTS are unstable your +12vdc could be the cause. You will need a digital volt meter. Measure at power on and monitor voltage (both ac & dc). check again after display is stable. if there is a lot of ac on the dc supply it needs to be replaced. |
