| vmx30 Is there any way to store a program on the vmx30 other than on a floppy disk? |

| It can be saved on the C drive on the machine, but if you want to store off machine then there can be a direct cable link or the A drive. |

| On the right side of the machine at the back there are several connector plugs so you can link up to a computer, the cable is just modem cable, on a lot of machines the connection is RS232 but I think on the 30 there is a USB outlet( I'm not @ work at the moment). | Suzanne: Vmx 30 can save to the A Drive (Floppy) it is also capable of an eithernet (ULTINET) connection to your company network for off line storage. If it is WINMAX then the USB is also an option. RS232 is avaiable on most HURCOS but this is a veryyyy slow method of storing off line (with LARGE PROGRAMS) small programs are not too bad as RS232. |
