    KMB1 Tape / Reader

Hello to you all. I just found you guys and I need your knowledge regarding my old hurco kmb1. I write my programs using the Ultimax program that I got 10 - 15 years ago. I have always started my machine with the start up tape and it has now quit working. I have heard that there is an emulator out there that will replace my start up tape but know one can tell me what this does and whether my PCMax program will work with it. You guys have all probably replaced your old machines by now but this old girl keeps on doing what I need it to do. Can anyone give me a straight up simple answer on what I should do? Thanks for your time.

PS. My hawk 5M needs a motor for it's y travel. Best place to find one?

I have dealt with him and he is good to work with, he use to be the Hurco factory service guy down this way.
