Ultimax 1.64 compatible with machine parameters 1.61? If not : where can I buy the floppy : parameters version1.64?

It is compatable. Just rename the stored directory from V1_61 to V1_64

Ihave done the name modification! Still not works!
The problem may be the machine communication with the additional DC I/O interface 2 board.
I acquired a Hurco VSX330 (made:1995 by Quaser, moving head- fixed table Ultimax 3, side mounted littlebit complicated toolchanger ) for 6 months from Germany! Simply EBAY!
The hard drive was dead! Only 1 pece floppy with machine parameters v1_61.
Then newly via EBAY have bought a complete PCU Rack, same generation but no additional DC I/O interface 2 board.

BUT NO additional DC I/O interface 2 board: DINAPATH:
I have replaced The motherboard the CPU and the hardwarekey.
It looks verry nice and I see a lot of options inthere: Ultimax 3 v 1_64 with: 3D pkg, dxf ...
Than I have uploaded the original machine parameters : VSX330 v1_61.
The machine recognize the new configuration but can not handel it!
It looks like compatibility problem!
First alarm: air pressure too low (it is not true I have enough airpressure, and by the other hand the switch is "bypassed".
Than she said (the machine) I have to go to machine parameter.
If I do this she let me push the green "netz"Power ? button.
And what now?

The new hard drive you have fitted has the wrong machine directory selected for the machine type. There should be a directory in the C:/ partition called something like VSX330.MCD and it needs the LADDERS.TXT file to point to the correct .REX files for that machine or it will think it is whatever that card rack was removed from.

You will need to copy all the files from the correct configuration disk to the hard disk. Keep the locations the same so if a file is in a directory on A:/, it must be copied to the same directory on C:/
First, create a directory on C:/CONFIG for the configuration files to be copied into called V1_64
Put the config floppy in the drive, go to Auxiliary and press 'upgrade system files' it may complete the process without having to do it manually.

The C: has only one Folder (named Config) inthere another folder (named v1_64) there are 7 files: Probe , rotary, serial,sufix,sysnet,tune and vector 4 .

What I have done:

first rename
C:\ config\v1_64 to C:\ config\v1_61

than made new folder named C:\ config\v1_64 and paste inthere the contents of config floppy:

now I have:

C:\ config\v1_61\probe
\rotary
\serial
\sufix
\sysnet
\tune
\vector 4
C:\ config\v1_64\config(folder)\probe
\rotary
\serial
\sufix
\sysnet
\tune
\vector 4
C:\ config\v1_64\leadscrw

it is OK?

If I have already a directory (folder) named v1_64.
Do not need to create anotherone !?

nothig changed!
same situation:
I can jog only x and y axis. z -no!
Toolchanger configuration is not 100 %...see attachments

Have you checked the cards are all seated and the fuses on the personality cards are ok?

but somethings are changed:

I have looked with "XP eyes" at the Hurco Ultimax 3 -hard disk:
and I noticed that 2 files are not there anymore: Execprog(1456KB), and Hurco.ldr (32KB).
And I can see a new one: named PREVIOUS (1KB).
The machine starts just like before.

I was trying to produce a new harddrive.
FDISK, FORMAT....
...
...
everythings gone fine until :
COMBINE

message:
"File IO error #0 "

then I have made a copy of execprog of another Hurco ultimax3 (bmc30) on Windows XP.
Than back in Hurco-machine:
than:
"loading executive-please wait..."
than:
"error code 128, time out error"

It works now!
But only with 1_61!
Obviously Ultimax 3 v1_64 is not compatible with Hurco VSX machines!
