    BMC 20 Safety Planes?

I have a BMC 20 that acts like it has work safety limits set on Z axis. It does not like short tools. Had this machine about a year but never worked directly off the table before now and although Z can be moved manually very close to the table it does not like running in auto anywhere close to the table. Any ideas much appreciated.

    Hi.
I could be not safety range. This is Spindle Nose to Table Minimum Distance and you can't change it. I don't know value for BMC20. For VMXs minimum distance is approximate 150mm.
You have to use spacers between table and part or longer tools.
Sorry that my English is like... :)
