    Mastercam Post Help!!!

I need help, at the moment I am working in Mastercam Mill v8, but I think it is old and I am trying to go to Matercam X or Higher. The only problem is that I have a Hurco Ultimax 2 post in Mastercam v8 but not in v10, I'v tried looking for the post, but with no success.

I need solutions for this problem, should I learn how to make a post for Mastercam X, or does anyone have the post to give me the link. I'm not in a hurry but if anyone has the time, please help... The post looks like this:

I guess it all depends what version you are going to end up with. I used to use V9 a while ago and then X3 more recently but not for the past year or so. There's too much in Mastercam for me, I find it hard work. If you try asking the guys in the Mastercam forum they will probably say, "contact your reseller". I don't think you'll get much help off them.

    post file

I went from V9 to X4 and have the same machine. I have the mastercam peeps working on the file as we speak. The first version they gave me had problems. I can send you a copy when ever they complete it. I waited until my mantaince ran out before upgrading , now they take there time to help me.

I use a fadal post but you have to call the program
    a xxxxx.FNC file instead of xxxxx.NC.
I believe most basic Fanuc posts will work
and the VM 10 recognizes the FNC
    tag only.
    Good Luck,

    Hi msavcic,
Did you try update post c-hook available in mastercam. It update the old postprocessor. Try it if you didn't do it before. If it works then it is well and good, otherwise tell me i will send you the post processor that i edited to use with mastercam X2 for my hurco milling machine with kmbx-1 and for hurco machining center with ultimax 2 control.
