H5M XYZ loose positions after motherboard failure

Hello everybody, I have a problem and I need your help.

    I have a 1995 Hurco 5M with ultimax3.

One month ago, I have a motherboard failure, and I replace it by a brand new 486 motherboard.

For info, I try Pentium but it won't work! I have "motion controller communication failure". Error red led on the DSP board Ignites weakly.

The H5M "rebirth", I can do zero axis, the 3 axis moves, I can run programs partially.

But, when the axis moves, they made a huge sound, and then, I have "X,Y,Z loose position error".

What's the problem? Is it the servo tuning? They are from servo Dynamics.

    Best regards.

Check the 3 fuses in the top right of the cabinet.

Hello, you're talking about alimentation fuses?
I've checked all fuses I saw (alimentation, relay board, servo board ) they're all good.

    Thanks

The three biggest ones (about 25A) in the grey holder in the top right of the cabinet. Also check that all three phases to the macine are OK. What you have sounds like the machine only has two live phases.

    First, Thanks for your reponse.

The tree fuses and phases are "ok".

When I said huge sound, the "X" axis "Rumbling discontent", the "Y" Whistle.

Before the motherboard failure, when the "X" axis were cold, it sounds "Rumbling discontent", after a heating cycle, it were "ok".
But I have to slow down the rapid feed, 10m/min to 5m/min, because I already have a "loosing position problem".

I thought I have to tune the servo??

    Regards.

Do you have orange or white top connectors on your Servo Dynamics?

Using a meter set on DC volts, on the two pins nearest to you on the top connector, jog the axis (1016mm/min for X & Y, 635 for Z) and adjust SIG for 950mv.
Adjust BAL to get an even reading in a positive and negative direction.
Adjust GAN or CMP clockwise until it is unstable then counter-clockwise until stable, then another two turns CCW.
    Repeat for all axes.

Re, I have stupid questions, you're talking about orange connector? or the pins they 're in front of the servo boards?

And if this is the orange connector, I leave it in position, or I remove it? when I take measures?

For the balance settings, I found in hidden page, diagnosis => "enter" 102 (o 103) "enter". Do I need to use this page?

I 'll try on tomorow morning.

Thanks a lot! for your advises.

    Best regards.

Measure the two pins nearest to you on the top orange connector. Leave it on the board.
Jog the axis you are measuring at the feeds posted above.
Do not use the axis balance setup in the hidden screen.

Hello, this morning I set SIG to 950mV, before it's 660mV, and the balance it's ok.

But I don't found the GAN trigger. So I don't set it.

When I'm setting the SIG, I saw the LED fault error. It light 2 secondes. I don't see it before, the time for me to go to the control cabinet....

This is the "OVER TEMP/EXCESSIVE RMS INDICATION".

After all that, I launch my program, the H5m start, first square (1mm in plastic with 2mm end mill), at the 2nd square 1mm deeper, "X,Y,Z" pursuit error.

    An idea?

    Thanks.
