Hello everyone. I have a situation with the rough boring canned cycle on the hurco TM10. I am using the HTL programming. I am boring an ID from 2" to 2.327" using a groove, boring holder. There is enough protrusion of the tool tip to clear the shank from the material. There is an inside wall left from the machining operation. It protrudes down about .1635". My tool is clear up to .410". I programmed a z- turn followed by an x- followed by a z- followed by a x + followed by a z- & last the face down to end the geometry. I disabled the gouge avoidance to cut the entire profile. All is well until I run the program. The deepest in x+ it will go is 2.282" & the cycle becomes stuck repeating it's self over & over. It only repeats on the back side of the wall. Not the front. Both bored ID's are 2.282". v02.02.05.21LT is the software version. I tried exaggerating the protrusion of the tool (Longer than what it is) to see if it would help. I know it would clear, but it did not change anything. Anyone have idea's. Thanks for your time.
