    The DALLAS chip can to work with external battery?

    No. Replace them with the same type of SRAMs that are next to them on the board, add batteries (3.6v lithium) to the three slots on the edge of the board, add jumpers to the six sets of jumping pins next to the batteries and then invert jumper E89.

    I've change it with CMOS Static RAM 32k x 8 bit 70 ns In DIP 28 . SM620808LLP 70 ( UTC2256PC-70LL) for 1.45 EUR/ Pcs from Lithuanian EVITA. I made it 3 times and works fine each time.
