no calibration or axis movement

We just purchased a KM5P and powered it up.
Spindle runs, i reset the servos but when i try to calibrate the machine or jog each axis i get an alarm (servo fault on z),this alarm comes on all axis when i try to move them. i reset the servos and checked inside the cabinet,all the green lights are on and the servo drives are ready. Any ideas on the cause of this alarm?

What do the displays on the servo amps say when you've just pressed manual, power, start?
What do they say when the axis has faulted?

the servo amps say normal when manual ,power ,start is pushed
when the axis fails the alarm is base current blocked(-.)
