The best bet for this would be something along the lines of a Nikken table with an Alpha type controller. You could get uneven angles but with the simplicity of an indexer.
I'm sure there would be one on fleabay somewhere.
Hello everyone!
I'm hunting for a dual axis card for a 4th axis on a ultimax 2 machine. The specific machine is a bmc40slv...
I originally had just thought I might add an indexing table, and run it with the position block, as all I really need to is index to some arbitrary angles to drill a few holes, but I have not been able to find much help in figuring out how to run one/which tables might or might not work, so I think if I'm going to have to spend a million dollars, i might just try to add a 4th. The hardest part: whichever I decide to do, it needs to work by about the first of the month...
Ideas? opinions? stockpiles of old hurco parts? (hopefully all three)
Thanks!

Most of the newer tables, IE hardinge, Mori seiki, etc.. are no longer a gear driven 1 or 5 deg table. They use DDS motors now and can index to any position, and have zero backlash. I've seen both as stand alone units similar to the HAAS tables, or as 4th axis. Problem is, they aint cheap.
