WinMax Ver. 8 is advaiable for download

I was checking out Hurco's web site and they have Winmax Mill Ver. 8 for PC available for download (30 day demo) in the support section. It appears to be fully functional if you check off all the options when installing it. It will even read/save files. You'll need to give them your e-mail because that is how they send you the security codes, but don't worry, they will not harass you like BOBCAD salesman.

Verison 8 has some new features that will help reduce programing time like "optimum tool change" that will run the whole program using a spot drill before changing to the next tool if there is more than one block that contains a spot drill. Unfortunately, I don't think this feature is backwards compilable to Ver. 7 so you will still be stuck making your programs the old fashion way.

One more neat feature is you have the ability to export your Drill locations into a Patter Location Block, so if your going to mill out some C-bore's, it just got easier.
