Unhappy Can anyone give me a copy of Ultimax Offline?

The DOS based offline programming utility allowed writing programs on a desktop PC. The PC was essentially a Ultimax II emulator. Programs could be stored to floppy and/or uploaded via serial cable into the machine.

The manifest for my machine listed this software as part of the package. I have 2 (maybe 3) sets of manuals for the software and to my grief, the empty 5 1/4" floppy dust jackets.

I talked to the good techs at HURCO USA and they remembered this software, but like most anything else DOS based and on a 5 1/4" floppy most all that stuff went into the dumpster about Y2K... Hurco said it is an end of life, out of production non-supported item. However Steve said he would look around and see if maybe a copy is being used to level a desk or something, but don't hold your breath.

I am greatly thankful for his efforts, but facing dim prospects I have decided to plead my need to the world at large to see if any other Hurco owners might have this software.

My KM3P is running MAX32 DA v1.16 but I think its compatible with the normal Ultimax II version.

You mean MaxPC? If so, I've got some in my old laptop case in the office.
This is the software that needed a dongle in the serial port (not in the parallel port like PCMax) and saved in the .HDB format.
If this is what you need, give me PM with your email and I'll send it to ya.

I've just started up my old laptop with it on. The version I run on the serial dongle is 8.5
