    I need a little help.

Sorry that my first post to your forum is a question, but I could use some information. I hope to be buying a KM-3 this weekend. My concern is with moving and loading the machine on a trailer. The current owner is suggesting that we lift the machine by attaching straps to the ram and lift the entire machine with a fork truck. Can anyone here tell me if this would be considered the correct procedure? Thank you for any help you can provide.

Yes, that's the way most will do it and won't hurt it at all.
Make sure the ram bolts and the four around the top of the pivot are tight. Mind the spindle motor cable too.
