Question ultimax ssm controller question

Hi all.

Was just wondering how to restart the programme at the place where I had a machine stop due to a keyswitch error. (which is now fixed and not my problem)

In conversational I have programmed a loop linear pattern with 7 repeats and wanted to restart at repeat 6 as 5 off had already been completed.

Couldnt see a way to do this..

Any help please..???

Controlloer Ultimax SSM on Hurco VSX24 bedmill. :-)

You should be able to do a recovery restart. Press recovery restart, enter in the start and end blocks you want to run and then it will ask "starting pattern number" this is where you will want to put 6...since that is what pattern you want to run. It might also ask you what peck level you want to start at if you have pecks, if nothing has been cut you can put 1 and it will start at pattern 6 peck level 1. It should run only patterns 6 and 7. Hope this helps.

Hello

I would just like to add something.

Lets say your pattern liner block is block #6, and block #7 is the Mill contour (or holes, etc) block. You would want to chose start block number 7 (to start milling, drill, ect, then select "Recovery Restart". Then it should prompt you on what pattern you want to start on, then it may ask what mill peck level, or hole number to start at. If you choose block #6 to start on and select Recovery restart, it will not prompt you to select a pattern to start on or mill peck level/hole number.

I'm thinking you may already found out that that if you select Start block 7, End block 14, then Run program, it will only run blocks 7-14 over and over again. But If you do a Recovery Restart, it will run block 7-14, then it will stop and you will have to go back to the auto page and select your blocks over again before you can run your program again.

Just another tip
