KM3-P software version?

Hi All,
I was hoping someone might know the latest version of the software for the KM3P?
Mine looks to be KM3 3D pkg. E/G V7.21 415-0168-777

Also, was wondering if it matters that it says KM3 when I have a KM3-P?

Thanks a bunch!

Mike

Cool

My Uncles Max II KM3 (non-P) came with v7.24 then was upgraded to v8.6 - I would think v8.6 was avail to all versions of the Max II.

My KM3-P has the Max32 update in it so its kinda a b@$t@rd halfbreed to both Max II and Max III controls.

You will need to change the axis and spindle EPROMs as well as the twelve executive EPROMs.
Axis: 450-3010-007 EPROM x3
Spindle 450-3010-317 EPROM x1

Don't forget the options are stored in the executive.

Thanks Bloke!

Do you know if the chanfge is worth it? Maybe its not a big advantage. Just wondering if it is worth the hassle to find and purchase.

Thanks,

Mike

From what I know, the 8.6 versus the 7 version was only a upgrade that did "diagnostics" on startup ?
then Hurco went to color

Smile

There were some bugfixes for irregular pockets.

Rapid moves were optimized and drilling cycles run harder (faster accel settings). Less pointless dwells like between peck levels in pockets.

Also Error checking and estimated run times were more realistic.

It was a good update, not sure I'd just go out and spend the money though unless the price was really good.

Thanks guys,

I did check on the upgrade and its $500. Little to high for what I would gain. I think I will just hold off...

Thanks again!
