I have a Hurco KM3P .This morning when I tried to zero the table it went over in the X-axis and I got "Motion Error" & "Emergency Stop" errors. When it hits a limit switch usually I can bump it back manually and it is ok. This time I took the cover off ( power off, too) and turned the x axis ball screw by hand about 2" in the direction off of the limit switch. It still won't home position. Any ideas on what to check first? Thanks, JAckal |

| Hurco used a funny little prox switch for homing, both our KM3's did the same thing. Both had low voltage on the 5 VDC line out of the power supply. I would check that first then adjust the power supply if needed. I always showed up on the X first, I think it was because of the longer run to the switch, loosing a little voltage normally. |

| Under, Thanks for the info. I checked mine at the switch and it shows 4.8 volts. How hard is it to adjust the power supply? Can I leave the volt meter hooked up the the wire feeding the switch and then adjust it up? Thanks, Jackal |
