Does any one have a procedure to tune in a replacement Yaskawa servo drive for a BMC 20 to match the speed of the other 2 older drives? I recently replaced a drive and when I cut a circle I get more of an egg shape. |

| Check the jumpers are set the same as the X or Y depending on which amp you have changed. Roughly set the pots to the same settings (VR1, VR4 & Zero. Avoid moving pots that have been paint-marked. Jog the axis (or write a program) to be set up at 1016mm/min (40 IPM). Connect a voltmeter with the positive lead on TM3 pin 2 on the servopack and the negative lead on the 0v terminal. Adjust VR1 (coarse adjust)first and VR4 (fine adjust) after to get 0.95v DC both ways (use the Zero pot to make the forward reading match the reverse). Check the other amps to ensure they are set correctly too. |
