I am getting everything together to start converting one of the X2 mini mills to cnc. I have the mill and in the process of getting the ballscrews to put on it. I've been looking at the Hobby CNC packages to drive it. My question is if I get the 4 axis board do I "have" to utilize the fourth axis on the board immediately. My thoughts is to buy this over the 3, that way in the future if I want to add a rotary table to it I have the option to do it( assuming I can use it for this). Thanks for any help. |
