    HobbyCNC Pro Power Supply

    Hello

I was wondering if a DC power supply could be used instead of the setup HobbyCNC recommends(AC transformer, bridge diode & capacitor) with there Pro Driver Board, if so what would be the best DC voltage and amps, I was thinking of something like this http://cgi.ebay.com/24V-10A-DC-Unive...item5ad048ec80

The voltage output I believe is too low. I believe you need at least, 36 volt dc. in order to have reasonable results.

What about this power supply, do you think it would be enough power?
    Thanks

Wow! Nice deal. Absolutely, that is enough power.
