    Moving to a different controller

Let me say first that I am not bashing the HobbyCNC board. I have supported this board on this forum and would like to be honest about my experience.

First the support for this board is great, I have 7 of these, 2 of them the Pro boards. Dave replaced a Pro board that was working incorrectly.

    The problem:
I use these boards for 3 or 4 months and then I lose an axis. Since I have a 3 axis mill, 4 axis router, and a 2 axis lathe I just move to the spare.
    However I know have:
1 pro board down to 2 axis,
4 older boards to 3 axis
2 (1 old and 1 pro board) is still 4 axis but I have just started using them.

    My solution:
I will continue to use these, 2 axis on the lathe, 3 on the mill and 4 axis on the routers until I loose more axis. Then I will by the Gecko.

I have no plans to buy any more HobbyCNC boards.
