I think I am going to use the hobbycnc boards to run an engraving machine. It only uses two stepper motors for x and y. Z is a solenoid and it puts the tool down using air. Is there a way to use the hobbycnc board to energize a relay to put the tool down. I am thinking something like a opto 22 relay Anyone ever try something like this? |
