Dear ted34, RS do them at about £28 plus VAT. http://docs-europe.electrocomponents...6b80027b48.pdf Rated at 12 amps and 25 volts AC. I can get you one if you want, without postage charges Best wishes, Martin Last edited by martinw; 07-10-2009 at 10:28 PM. Reason: extra info

That be great - cheers Martin. Are you sure that transformer will work as its only 300Va if I connect the two secondarys together? Do you know if the 30 or 35V output version will give more power? Please can you email me regarding getting one: e31ddie at hotmail.com

All 300VA transformers have the same power rating. If you increase the secondary voltage, the available current decreases. The 35 volts per secondary version can supply 8.6 amps when the secondaries are in parallel. The 25 volt version gives 12 amps. Best wishes, Martin
