I found a local place that carried Hammond transformers. The cross reference states that the Hammond 266S24 transformer is compatible as the F401U (recommended by HobbyCNC). So I thought I'd save on shipping costs and buy it. Here's the problem... The 266S24 has two primary and two secondary windings. In other words, I have four wires on both the primary and secondary sides. Here's a link to the data sheet. http://www.hammondmfg.com/266.htm Do I have to wire the secondary in series somehow? |

| Well, after searching through Hammonds site, I found that I needed to wire the center taps together on the secondary. This produces 24VAC at 10A. This would probably be a good transformer for people in areas with 220VAC as well. |
