I have a 24V, 10A switching power supply need to sale, but i'm living in Viet Nam
Hi all,
Can anyone help please?
I'm in New Zealand and am looking to buy a surface mount transformer for my HobbyCNC Pro setup.
The transformer needs to have an output of 24VAC @ 10A.
Heres the one that HobbyCNC recommends but its for the USA voltage:

You need to define what you mean by surface mount, it generally means printed circuit component, but at 10a secondary, I don't think so.
A common supplier should be any Local electrical supply house, as 24v secondary is a common industrial transformer.

Hi blasttiod
The trasformer you have the web link to is a chassis mount & 115volt for NZ you will want 230v to 24v which you can get from a good elecical supply store in NZ
My son would love your name blasttiod it is one that he uses all the time in battle brawlers (Bakugan) do a search of Bakugan on the web & you will see what I mean

Dear blasttoid,
Farnell will almost certainly have something that suits.

And if you want something secondhand and maybe cheaper try a wheelchair dealer. Electric wheelchair use 24volts and many times dealers have junk battery chargers lying around.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
