24VAC 10A transformer needed in New Zealand

    Hi all,
    Can anyone help please?

I'm in New Zealand and am looking to buy a surface mount transformer for my HobbyCNC Pro setup.
The transformer needs to have an output of 24VAC @ 10A.

Heres the one that HobbyCNC recommends but its for the USA voltage:

You need to define what you mean by surface mount, it generally means printed circuit component, but at 10a secondary, I don't think so.
A common supplier should be any Local electrical supply house, as 24v secondary is a common industrial transformer.

    Dear blasttoid,

Farnell will almost certainly have something that suits.

And if you want something secondhand and maybe cheaper try a wheelchair dealer. Electric wheelchair use 24volts and many times dealers have junk battery chargers lying around.
An open mind is a virtue...so long as all the common sense has not leaked out.
