Will the tutorial for modifying the ATX Powersupply On The HobbyCNC Website Work in The UK. Also how do i connect my motors, controllers, and power supply. Does the power supply goto the hobbycnc and then that feeds the motors?? Thanks David |

| I'm guessing you run 220v mains there yes? I haven't looked at the mod (yet) but as long as the mods are on the output side of things it should work... the motherboards they are intended to power are the same. (now to find the writeup on that mod...) Pete |

| I've been using an ATX 500w power supply on my hobbycnc pro and 305oz steppers for 3 months now and it works great. The only change that would have to be made in your case would be to the mains input, the input can be switched to 220v. I removed all the output wires except the yellow(+12v) and black(-NEG) to the pro board. A auto bulb is solderd to a red(+5v) and black(-NEG) to bring the power supply on line. Connections for the motors and power are in documentation of the board. Good Luck, Fatboy |
