question about hobbycnc non-pro board

I bought a 4 axis hobby cnc controller setup from a member on here and was wondering about some things on it. First does it come with any paperwork other than what they show on the website and if so it it available? Also I dont know if these were added or were part of the kit. I have 2 momentary push button switchs and 2 toggle switchs. The momentary are labeled up and dn. I figure on manual Z or A control. Then there is one toggle labeled auto and manual, and one labeled heat on and off. There is an LED that illuminates when one switch is in a certain position. Anybody know if this is familar to there systems? If I had an actual schematic I could probibly trace it out but I dont have anything other that whats on there site which is really not more than a sheet showing pin outs. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You have the 4AUPCWHC. I am not familiar with it, but I have the 4AUPC version that doesnt have the heat control.

Yours is for foam cutting. The WHC stands for With Heat Control.

Send an email to dave telling him how you acquired his board and he will give you access to the files you need.

OK thanks for the info. The foam cutter seems likely since the guy I purchased it from made foam RC aircraft parts with a CNC router, so a foam cutter makes sense. I sent a join request to the yahoo group you referenced, would you happen to know if Dave is a member on this forum, and if so would you happen to know his Screenname?

Although you have the foam board with heat you can also use it on other tools to. I have the proboard on my foamcutter and added the heat control. Later it will be used for my mill/drill conversion. The board does not know what it is operating except steppers which could be sitting on the bench.

I just got a reply from Dave. Here is the deal with the foamcutter board.

"The foamcutter board does not support home/limit switches, is only full and half step, and is rated at 2A instead of 3A.
With that said, you could use it for CNC applications with the above mentioned restrictions."
