    HCNCPRO problem

I have a 4 axis HCNCPRO board... All the tests below have been with just one motor hooked up at a time.

All the steppers are working except on the first block on the board Its labeled X TB1. It has the same voltage as the other blocks that are working but when I send a cut to the board the other 3 motors move and the one connected to TB1 just gets hot really fast. I have tested the motor and it works fine on another Block. Nothing on the board gets hot at all running .8A steppers.... Without desoldering and swapping the chips
how do I test if the controller chip for that stepper to see if it is no good?

I have checked for solder bridges and can't find a single problem on
    that section.

I am pretty good at soldering but horrible at desoldering especially
if they have more than one leg and that chip has a lot... 23...

You also missed our post about our internet connection being ripped from the house in the last snow we had.

    Enjoy.
