| Dave, I have problem posted question in group Yahoo, so hopefully experience user or Dave can help me out in this forum. Thank you. I am just completed the basic construction for 3 axis board kit. Instrction said to apply 12Vdc - 42 Vdc to TB6 labeled and verify +5Vdc output at te pad. What happen is I am using Powersupply range 0-30Vdc for this test. What I got was when I applied 24Vdc, output was 5V. But when you applied 12Vdc (min per instruction), you only get 2V. These values are varied from 0-24 Volts input, output to be 0-5.50 Volts. Therefore, with your test resulted that you expected 5.0Vdc-5.2Vdc, do you mean use 24Vdc input?? Or any voltage range input between 12-42Vdc? |

| Darn...Then something is wrong. With your experience, can you somewhat identify what could be wrong here? I will overlook all the steps again, but advice would be helpful. P.S. Does it have to do with all jumpers placed or not placed? Or could it be potentiometer that did not adjust? hmmmm.. |

Reread the step about the voltage check before installing the chips. It gives a clue as to what components to check. LOOK very carefully for poor solder joints and/or bridges. |
