Am a bit dense when it comes to electrics . Can anyone confirm if this transformer will be suitable for the 4axis kit(First test successfull though 5.2V. Testimony to Dave's excellent instructions)http://rswww.com/cgi-bin/bv/rswww/se...eID=uknetscape Liam Last edited by bigz1; 05-28-2006 at 05:28 AM. |

| Many thanks Dave. Am in like Flinn . I take it, that when I install the chips to earth myself on a metal electrical appliance beforehand(would wearing surgical rubber glooves to handle them also be a good idea?).For any newbies concerned about soldering read this(I was petrified but after 10mins practice on an old RC servo, every joint came out volcano shaped and shiny as it should do). The kits instructions are very simple with no jargon ideal for knuckleheads like me. http://www.epemag.wimborne.co.uk/solderfaq.htm Dave do you have any plans to produce a 5 axis Kit????? Liam |
