The info you seek is in our files section on our Yahoo support group. IF you don't have the link, email us for it. Be sure to include your name and what you purchased. Dave Rigotti HobbyCNC.com |

| Please resist the urge to curse, flame, degrade, insult or embarrass someone in your post. Hard sometimes when you get one sided supplies that do not see the merit in helping. Isn't it what forums are for, if you get suck I will get you the information .................You are not the first to feel "it's my or the Highway" ........... |

You know it’s really rather SIMPLE, Dave is trying to protect his investment in time and money spent in development of the products he sells. I’m NOT saying anyone has done so but in a world full of KNOCK OFFs and COPIES it would be a easy task for someone to reverse engineer Dave’s work and direct the purchasers of those copies to Dave for support. All Dave is actually asking for is some type of PROOF that the products were actually purchased from him. Dave sends a payment received verification that contains some sort of invoice number in an email when you purchase from him, use that invoice number as a reference number in your email to him asking for access to the support site. The HobbyCNC Support Forum is for support of his CUSTOMERS As far as I know Dave’s work has not been released to the public domain so he feels no need to support everyone who comes along. If you call a LARGE computer company for support on a PC or Laptop, They want the SERIAL NUMBER to verify that the product is within it’s warranty period. If you call Microsoft for support on a piece of software they want SERIAL NUMBERS and REGISTRATION NUMBERS for the software and operating system. If you take your CAR to a BRAND dealership (Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc) they check the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number)

| Ed didn't purchase the steppers from us. He got them from a third party, thus he was not able to tell us what name he purchased from us as he was directed to our Yahoo support group where the info is clearly posted in the files section. When he finally explained the whole situation we immediately sent the information. I'm moving on to more fruitful posts... Dave Rigotti HobbyCNC.com |

| I am in the electronics kit business myself. There are many people who will take a design and sell it as their own and then direct customer service questions to the person that they ripped off. I often get build questions from people who never bought my kit. Dave is only protecting his design. It is a shame that there are so many out their that think that someone elses work is public property and are shameless enough to demand support from someone that they essentially stole from.
