I'm not sure that I understand the basis of your question.
The datasheet shows the bipolar series hookup in the middle diagram at the bottom of the page. The diagram shows which wires (by color) to hook up.
What exactly is your question?
hi all, can anyone teach me how to read wiring diagrams?? i want to connect my motor as bipolar (series) but cant figure out which two wires should i join for a+ , a-, b+ and b-. here is the link of the motor spec

So in bipolar series, should i join (blue, red) , (blur, yellow) or ( blue, green) to a+, ??? I know its pretty basic question but this would be my first time playing with wires![]()
Are you saying that the wires from the motor have color stripes instead of being all a single color?
According to the diagram:
1) Connect the Red wire to the Yellow wire. Apply electrical tape to insulate that connection.
2) Connect the Blue wire to the A+ terminal.
3) Connect the Green wire to the A- terminal.
4) Connect the Black wire to the Orange wire. Apply electrical tape to insulate that connection.
5) Connect the Brown wire to the B+ terminal.
6) Connect the White wire to the B- terminal.
If the wire colors do not match the solid colors shown in the diagram, then you will need to use a multimeter to verify the proper wire hookup.
Thanks doorknob for the reply, so for bipolar( parallel) blue and yellow will go to a+ right ? Thanks
Thank you for ur help doorknob !!!![]()
