Whats needed?

I just oreded the 3 Axis Board kit, and 3 -200oz steppers. What all do I need to get my machine running?

Power Supply?
Case?
What else?

Part#'s and URL's would be great.

computer, software, wires, switches, fuses, etc
Part numbers of items in our packages/kits are proprietary.

I am in need of a power supply, but you can't tell me what you recommend? I am not asking for any company secrets here, just what you recommend and what others are using. I would have ordered a package/kit, but you don't have them it states, I just got a board and steppers.

Our yahoo hosted support group HAS a power supply circuit for download. If the combo was not what you wanted then return it for a refund. Packages will be in stock by Mid October.

www.MPJA.com has a real nice 28VDC 14A power supply for under $40 that will work also.

Thanks dave, you did have this info on your site, that is all I was looking for. I just ordered the board and all yesterday, as of yet I have not got a email saying ot shipped or anything. I hope to get it soon. So I can make some dust/chips.

Does the instructions say what all else is needed?
Other than power supply and a case, I have no idea what else I need.

Why didn't you wait for the packages to be available that has all you need except for tranny and case?

Basically been waiting about 3 years to get going on this, and I ready to do it now, or it may get put off another 3 years..you know how that goes sometimes. I would love a kit, but October is to far for me. I want to work on it tonight :-)

You would have been much better off with a package. Trust me on this. You're questions lead me to believe you know very little about electronics, electricity, and CNC. Our support group is the best place to post with your questions.

I posted the same question on the support group, so far just one response. I am getting iritated due to I am asking you what is need to complete the project and you cannot/wont tell me what you recommend. I am not asking what you are using, just what you recommend to users. I can find a case, and a power supply, but do you recommend 24v, 36v, 48v, or what. How amps needed? Where do you recommend fuses to go? before board, before motors, both? What size? Normal or fast blow? What other dodads do I need. I want to get this all ordred so I can get this going soon.

You are correct, I know very little about CNC, but I do know the basics of Electronics and electricity.

The circuit you said you found in post #5 has all the questions answered for you in the circuit. It shows values and placement.
Dodads? Hmmm..do you mean mounting hardware?

Please post your questions on our support group. This way all of our customers can learn from our answers.

Angry

I hate to tell you but hobby cnc is a rib off. They sell products and then leave you hanging saying "go ask someone else in the group" instead of call me at --------- or email me at blank. I asked him if the kit would work for a plasma cutter and he finially emailed me 3 days later saying he didn't know. Piss on him, its too many others out there that offer good support for just a little more money.
