Kit suppliers for X2 conversions?

I am curious...are any of the Kit suppliers for X2 and X3 mini mills actually in business? Seems like every email address is a dead end....and many of the phone numbers too.

I'm looking to build a three axis X2. I want to use the harbor freight version of the mill along with some nema 23 steppers and a gecko G540. Mach 3 and BobCad for software. And that much is on the way. I need to get the ball screws, mounts, and other goodies on the way...

Oops, that's the supplier I was thinking of. In a moment of rushed distraction, I put down the supplier of an X2.

cncfusion...yeah...tried them.
I sent them an email asking if they had the kit #4 in stock...couple days ago...got no reply.

got a reply from them....I asked for kit info...but got a reference for a set of plans. I ordered the plans...just to see how steele does his mod. Almost an insurance policy in case I have to make the parts....

kdn...no response to email...doesn't answer phone.
along with all the rest of them.

thompsonmachine seemed to have a nice entry....bounced email from all their email addresses and they dont answer the phone either.

anyways..thought I would ask and see who people actually can get stuff from. I'm ready to build one of these things!

'CNCFusion really does make the best kits and the installation of them are covered in many threads on this Zone. I do not know why you are having
a problem contacting them. They are in business and I would not discount
them as they are the best, unless you want to make your own.

cncfusion finally responded to my inquiry...and I ordered one of their kits.

Must have been on vacation or something. Anyways...kit and mill is on the way.
