One axis not micro stepping properly | | Hey guys just got my CNC router up and running and everything seems to be going good other than one problem I've run into. First off, I'm using the HCNC PRO Rev 1 driver board with the 305 oz motors and Mach 3.
My problem is that my Y-axis is not micro stepping. I've tried every jumper configuration but it's always in 1/1 stepping. I've triple checked my board for solder or installation errors and all my voltages check out correctly. Y-axis seems to operate correctly once configured for 1/1 stepping but I did notice it missing some steps when doing tests last night, where as my other two axes did not.
Has anyone else ran into this problem or something similar perhaps? I'm just looking for a direction to head in order to get to the bottom of this. I'm newbie to electronics and CNC machines for that matter but I can follow directions to the letter!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks. |
