What software are you using? It sounds like a software setup problem.
Hi i have a version 4.1 of hobby cnc and my motor are 1.67V , 6.8A
don't worry my card has the heat sink
anyways my probleme is power ON the motor and i try to make it turn
it doesn't move at all. My wiring is good it over check it. i good the good voltage at con 18, 35, etc.....
I can no turn the motor by hand so the field inside has current and i hear a little noise that sounds good .
it think it my be a problem btw the computer and the hobbycnc card (maybe the setup commincation...) i only have 1 printer port so it should be LTP1.
All so it doesn't detect my firnware of the hobbycnc..
do i have to do something with the limit switch (X1,X2 ,Y1,Y2,Z1,Z2)????
or the Leds section???
can someone help ??

First, the Hobbycnc board will only source a max of 3 Amps. Did you set each one of the potentiometers for the proper voltage without the motors connected per the instructions? What is the voltage & current rating of your power supply?
Whose software are you using to drive the controller? Did you set the step & direction pins in the software setup to corespond to the correct pins in the Hobbycnc instruction sheet?
You can download Turbocnc from dakeng.com It will drive the board. You'll need to set the step & direction pins in the software setup.
